Animal volunteering not only help these organisations, but it also provides joy and wonderful experience for us to enjoy when interacting with the furry beings.
Why should we care about other animals?
Despite being morally and ethically correct, helping animals is no different to helping another person. Helping in animal shelter will result in the 'feel good' sensation. At the end of the day, you may feel tired but you will feel good about yourself knowing that you have done something good.
It is also emotionally and mentally healthy for us to volunteer with animals. Taking care of animals trains us to be more responsible not only for our well being, but for others as well. Volunteer in such program will for sure bring happiness to us which is important for our mind to take off from the stressful daily environment.
